Special Education Advocacy
Our experienced California Special Education Advocates represent children who need extra support, are struggling in school, or have been diagnosed with a learning disability ranging from children with mild disabilities to children with the need for residential treatment facilities.
Services Include but are not Limited to:
- Reviewing educational records
- Attending IEP and 504 meetings-Doing school/classroom observations
- Reviewing private and/or school
- Assessment Reports (can do review of assessments as a standalone service)
- In preparation for IEP advocates will propose goals, review supportive evidence and materials
- Drafting letters and written requests to school
- Drafting complaints to the State Department of Education
- Recommending legal representation and other resources if needed
